The Origins and Evolution of the BPF
The Belize People’s Front is a progressive movement, which evolved from various independent socio-political activists who were dissatisfied with our political, social and economic conditions that were and are presently affecting our country. Due to that concern, we do not aspire to be just another special interest group, but instead, we seek to diminish the negative influence of partisanship. Now, we are networking to create a new electoral coalition supporting new models of progressive governance and striving for the broadest form of “grassroots” participation.
We believe in leading by example and that being elected to serve is an honour and a privilege. Both of which, should not be seen as an economic opportunity for illicit enrichment and power for one’s self, friends and family. We intend to remove every facet of corruption, in all levels of government and public service departments.
