Displeasure with Current Diaspora’s Bill

The Members and Executives of The Belize People’s Front hereby make known its displeasure with the current Diaspora’s Bill which is being presented for approval of voting rights, for the upcoming referendum. A bill proposing full participation of Belizeans living abroad, solely for the purpose of voting in the referendum is asking the Diaspora to assist them in securing Belize’s existence, but denying them the right to a say in how it is governed.
