The Belize People’s Front demands the following:
1-a. We demand that compensation be given to the family of our fallen brother Special Constable Danny Conorquie, killed in the line of duty.
1-b. We request that his family be compensated with $400 thousand BZD, in a lump sum payment. This would translate to a mere 50% of what this brave young man would have earned, given the economic indicators.
The Belize People’s Front is alarmed and dismayed on hearing that the charges against Area Representative and Former Minister of State in the Immigration Department, Mr. Elvin Penner have been dropped, due to lack of evidence. While we respect the decision of the court, much more could have been done…Read More
Sirs, It is interesting to note the support or lack thereof from the known political parties in their blatant disregard and deafening silence on the Belizean’s Right to Vote and hold elected office in the country of their birth. It is nice however, to see the changes that are occurring with the now public support of the Diaspora’s Right to Vote, via proxy, by the People National Party (PNP).Read More
Even though the officers and members of The Belize People’s Front applaud the efforts made by Hon. Mark King to assist the people in his constituency, a band aid fix will not be the solution; a Comprehensive Land Program is needed to assist all Belizeans to obtain lots and lands in our country.Read More

Topic: Ludicrous Statement by Foreign Affairs Minister
The Belize People’s Front (BPF), declares the following regarding the ludicrous statements made by the Foreign Affairs Minister, as it pertains to the death of Guatemalan, Mr. Tomas Ramirez.
We are astounded by the comments made by the Foreign Affairs Minister, regarding the investigation and subsequent actions to be taken, when the Belize Defence Force (BDF) Soldiers exercised their inalienable right, in defending themselves against personal and bodily harm. Whilst executing their duty of which they have sworn to do by protecting and defending our territorial integrity as enshrined in our Constitution.
We ask this of the Minister; Are Belizeans lives not worthy enough to facilitate professional investigators to assist our Police Department in solving the multitude of unsolved crimes committed against our hardworking young people?
Is not the memory of the young women murdered, robbed of their future, their selfless contribution to the society denied and the mourning families they left behind, not important enough for him to care to give the Police Department the necessary tools they have been clamouring for? How many lives will it take before the idea of having our own DNA Laboratory becomes a reality?
When the death of Belizeans in Guatemala, as in the case of murdered Pilot, Edwin Javier Chan is given the same importance as the death of the illegals extracting our natural resources in the Chiquibul; when the Guatemalans amend their national map to exclude Belize as their Eastern most Department; when the territorial integrity of Belize is respected at meetings chaired by the Organization of the America States (OAS); when the ministry takes appeasement out of their mandate in dealing with the Anglo-Guatemalan issue, then and only then, will Belize have its rightful place in the international negotiations. When Belize dialogues from a standpoint of patriotic nationhood, of assertive and quintessential tactful diplomatic courtesy, with a mandate representing the state’s position, then we will make worthwhile and tangible progress.
We ask that our representation at present and future negotiations be done, by able bodies versed in the extensive knowledge of international affairs, along with the appropriate expertise in the specific matter being negotiated. We remind you that, no government may rightfully adopt the posture or character of anything but servant.

The Belize People’s Front notes with concern that the petition to begin the recall process for the Area Representative for Cayo North East has been rejected. This failure of this basic mechanism of our democratic process should be one of concern for all Belizeans. It seems more than convenient that this petition, likely to cause embarrassment and difficulty to the government, has been rejected, despite the signatures collected.Read More
In this festive season of love and sharing, this of giving and receiving, the Belize People’s Front salutes all hard-working Belizeans across the jewel for their perseverance and endurance shown in the face of harsh economic times. It’s with this ever present and clear economic danger that we commend those who give from their hearts and pocket, to the less fortunate.Read More
