National Day of Prayer

On April 10th 2019, we will be asked to vote whether or not to take the Guatemalan claim to Belize, to the International Court of Justice (ICJ). This is a not a decision we should take lightly, as it may very well affect our very existence as we know it. It is on this solemn note which we must show our resolve and dedication, in assuring we are responsible to our sons and daughters, who will hold us ultimately responsible, for their future and the course we would have charted.

It is a matter of grave importance and should be one that unifies us!

It’s also in this call to unity, that The Belize People’s Front, invites all able-bodied Belizeans, to a National Day of Prayer, to be held on Tuesday April 9th 2019, at the Western Border. This will be a day where we seek divine intervention in declaring and asserting our sovereignty and right to a peaceful co-existence with our neighbour. We invite the Diaspora to gather, in a communal area, simultaneously in solidarity with us.

We ask the unions and local businesses to grant leave to their members and employees respectively, to be able to participate in this show of Nationalism.

A full Program will be announced at a later date.
“El pueblo unido, jamás será vencido”
