Amparito Teresita de Jesus Tun-O’Neill better known as Ampi (born October 22, 1977) she is originally from Ranchito Village and now residing in the Santa Rita Area, Corozal Town for over four years. She attended the Ranchito Government School, the Belize Adventist College High School, the Corozal Junior College, evening division earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Studies. After some years and difficulties in life, she ventured to continue studying through a scholarship opportunity for a Bachelor Degree from the Embassy of Mexico at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla in the area of Public Administration and Political Science in 2002. As a single parent at that moment in 2012, she ventured into another scholarship opportunity for an MBA in International Human Resource Development from the Embassy of Taiwan, R.O.C. at the National Taiwan Normal University.
During the ensuing years, she has held many different jobs titles, such as secretary, cashier, payroll clerk, teacher, and senior management. She has not had the opportunity to venture into a career because of the compromise to her children, family and also, due to the conditions and lack of opportunities in our beautiful country.
Mrs. Amparito have always shown to be very respectable, responsible, caring and protective of family and friends, always trying to improve their well-being. Due to her constant progress in education she has not had the opportunity to demonstrate her working values to her neighbour’s and fellow residents. She is proud to be a part of an alternative party, The Belize People’s Front, who plans to bring a change in our political arena without prejudice and discrimination of race, sex, gender, age, religion, creed, or political affiliations. As a Standard Bearer for the Corozal Bay, she is ready to work, more than ever. She and her team are looking forward to making progress in the Bay Area, through actions and not by promises and lies as have always been the norm. She carries a great political platform that will be inclusive of all the community at large.
Thank you for accepting her into your loving homes and for the opportunity to be a part of history in the making, through a genuine change for ALL, and not a FEW.
