Heber “Ever” Edgardo Reyes, as in for-EVER young! (born August 23, 1994) in Belize City was raised on two beautiful islands; Long Caye until 2000, then he moved to Caye Caulker. He attended King’s College Boarding School for 2 years, then moved to the United States of America for almost 6 years.
As a tour guide, Heber has gained unforgettable experiences, knowledge, and skills of which he is willing to share. He would like to focus on preservation, sustainability, and conservation of our natural resources. He believes on being an educator in the aspect of protecting bio-diverse areas and supporting local cultures in our Belizean economy.
He is in pro of educating our people about the importance of our Diverse Ecosystem and unique Diverse Multi-Cultural people, which is the main reason why many visitors worldwide come to our country today. Heber is a Lic. Tour Guide and a Marine Master Grade 1, and a boat captain. He is very familiar with our land, jungle, caves, sea, and reefs. To him, the environment plays an important role in his life. It has taught him how to dive, swim, fishing, and sail. He is passionate about environmental issues and feel a great sense of responsibility to protect the earth and learn how to live more sustainably.
Heber has his own travel agency called I Tour Belize, and manages Go Slow Caribbean Tours. Late 2019, he discovered Airbnb Host Experiences for travelers who are willing to support our local economy, whilst teaching them, meaningful knowledge about protecting our jewel, Belize.
Presently, Heber is representing the Belize People’s Front in the Lake Independence Constituency as a Standard Bearer.
