
Laurencio Bul
Standard Bearer
Laurencio Bul (born June 3, 1965) he is from the Village of San Antonio, Toledo and resides in Buena Vista Village in the Corozal District since 1987. He has worked in many fields in his life. He is of Mayan descent and fluently speaks the Mopan Mayan Dialect. He grew up as a hardworking and responsible farmer with a passion for football. As a man he aspired to be someone in life, this is why he chose to become a military officer and joined the Belize Defense Force (BDF) in 1983 to 1989. He was part of the Reconnaissance Platoon, Support Company and was selected to go to the Jungle Operation Training Center (J.O.T.C.), in Panama City for a training with the U.S.A. Marines.
He served three years at the Belize International Airport working as a Crash Fire and Rescue Service Officer (C.F.R.S.), worked at the Ramada Hotel as a Lost and Prevention Security Officer for one year and a half. Further on, he pursued to achieve his tour guide license to become a tour operator since 2014. In the year 2016, he became an Interim-Chairman for the Ex-Service Men Leagues at the Orange Walk Branch. Now, he is currently working at the Fort George Tourism Zone. Mr. Bul is also one of the founding members of the Belize City Tourism Zone Tour Operator and Workers Association, where he is the Secretary and an Executive Member.
Presently, he has joined a new alternative party, the Belize People’s Front (BPF) of which he is a Standard Bearer for the Corozal Southwest Constituency and has joined the grassroots movement to fight against corruption which is plaguing all across our beloved Belize.
