
Oscar Pollard

Oscar Pollard (born July 19, 1958) he is a happily married and God-fearing man with a host of children and loving family. He grew up in the village of Lucky Strike, Belize District, where he attended the Government School and is a proud graduate from Kings College. He then became a member of the Belize Volunteers Guard, former Corporal of the Belize Police Force, and is a former Motor Vehicle Inspector/Transport Officer in the Belize Transport Department.
In 1994, he became the Chairman of Lucky Strike Village up to 2008, he served as a Secretary of the National Association of Village Councils (NAVCO), former Interim President of NAVCO and former President of District Association of Village Councils (DAVCO). He also holds 3 years of International Certificate Studies in various fields such as – Project Management, Organizational Management, Sustainable Human Development, Communication Skills for Maximum Result and Discipline, and also Trainer of Trainers at the local level in community, mobilization and strategic planning.
Presently, he represents the Belize People’s Front as the Standard Bearer for the Belize Rural North Constituency.
