Thomas Henry Greenwood Jr. (born May 22, 1988) and raised in the Kings Park and West Landivar neighborhoods in the Caribbean Shores Constituency. He is the son of Resrv. BDF Major Thomas Henry Greenwood Sr. and Dominga Loyola Martinez. He graduated from Bernice Yorke Institute of Learning and St. John’s College/Extension. By profession he is a tour guide/tour operator.
He grew up in the city along his father, whom was his mentor due to his political background at the time in 1992; this moment had a great influence towards his political aspirations and made him become a more democratic oriented citizen believing in our future as one nation and one people.
He believes that as a people, we have done injustices to ourselves and to the children of the future of our nation, by re-electing our past and present governments without thinking of the consequences that today we are living – corruption, nepotism, cronyism, anti-democracy, inequality, repercussions, crime, unemployment, victimization etc. These consequences sadly, our children and children of our children will need to face and struggle with, in the years ahead, if we do not stand up and do what is right!
Tom is now a proud Standard Bearer for the Belize Rural South Constituency for the Belize People’s Front and strongly believes that his party will put a stand to the problems we have today and will move our country forward on a new and positive track, a PEOPLE’S FIRST AGENDA, unity and justice!
He believes that this fight to restore our country should never be about parties, never be about colors, never be about buying votes! THAT IS NOT DEMOCRACY! This must and always should be about the betterment of our people and nation, our home, our jewel we call Belize.
The future is in all our hands!
For me!
For you!
For all of us!
God bless us all!!!
